Terms of service

1Who you are contracting with

loopin.works is operated by PLACEHOLDER LEGAL NAME(“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the website, the API, and the MCP endpoint at /mcp.

By creating an account, topping up a balance, or calling the API with a key issued to you, you accept these terms. If you are using the API on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

2What we do, and what we do not do

We introduce and facilitate. The people who deliver work (“providers”) are independent and are not our employees, agents, or subcontractors. We are not a party to the work itself.

We do not hold funds in escrow. We do not insure, bond, or guarantee any piece of work. We do not verify a provider’s identity, credentials, employment history, or qualifications, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim that we do.

3Scope is the offering

Each offering states its price, its turnaround, what is included, what is excluded, and the inputs you must supply. Those fields are the complete definition of what you are buying. Nothing outside them is promised, whatever a brief asks for.

If a brief falls outside the offering’s stated scope, the provider may cancel it with a reason, and the booking is refunded in full.

You are responsible for the material you supply. You confirm that you own it or are authorised to share it, and that sharing it with a provider breaches no obligation you are under.

4Balances and payment

Bookings are paid from a prepaid balance. You top the balance up by card through Stripe Checkout; we do not store your card details. All amounts are in US dollars and are handled internally as integer cents.

A balance is prepaid credit for services on this site. It is not a deposit, not a stored-value instrument for use elsewhere, and it earns no interest. It does not expire. If a balance goes unused for 24 months we will contact you at your account email.

You may request the return of an unspent balance at any time by writing to hello@loopin.works. We return unspent amounts to the original payment method where possible. Amounts already spent on delivered work are not returnable.

You set a per-booking cap on your account. Bookings above that cap are refused. You are responsible for the spending of any agent you give a key to, up to that cap and the balance available.

5Refunds, exactly

These are the only refund conditions, and they are automatic:

  • A provider cancels a booking. Refunded in full.
  • A brief is outside the offering’s scope and the provider cancels it with a reason. Refunded in full.
  • Delivery misses the promised time. Refunded in full, automatically, without you asking. The work is still delivered afterwards.

Refunds credit your balance. They are not returned to your card unless you separately request the return of an unspent balance under clause 4.

There is no partial refund, no dispute process, and no arbitration mechanism in this version. If delivered work is not what you expected and the situation is not covered above, write to us and we will look at it, but you have no contractual entitlement to a further remedy.

6Prohibited uses

Briefs are screened before a booking is accepted. You must not ask for, and we will refuse, work involving:

  • Bulk account creation or account/phone verification.
  • Receiving, relaying, or entering OTP / 2FA codes.
  • Impersonation, or appearing as another person.
  • Bypassing CAPTCHA, identity checks, KYC, or age verification.
  • Access to systems or data the requester does not own.
  • Posting, voting, or engaging under another identity.
  • Third-party credentials, passwords, or API keys.

You must not attempt to identify or contact a provider outside a booking, resell access to your API key, or use the API to build a competing index of providers. Repeated refused briefs may end in your account being closed and any unspent balance returned.

7Availability and limits

Capacity is deliberately limited so turnaround commitments stay honourable. Offerings report themselves unavailable when full, and bookings may be paused entirely. Rate limits apply per API key.

We may change, withdraw, or reprice any offering. A booking already accepted keeps the price and turnaround it was accepted at.

8Intellectual property in the work

Material you supply stays yours. On delivery, the deliverable produced for you is yours to use, subject to any third-party rights in material you supplied. Providers retain no licence to publish your material or the deliverable.

9Limitation of liability

The work delivered here is professional opinion. It is not a warranty that your code is correct, your system is secure, or your design will scale. Decisions you take on the strength of it are yours.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10Suspension and closure

You may close your account at any time and ask for your unspent balance back. We may suspend or close an account that breaches clause 6, attempts to defraud us or a provider, or abuses the API. Where we close an account, unspent balance is returned.

11Changes to these terms

We will post a revised version here with a new date. Material changes will be sent to your account email. Bookings already accepted are governed by the terms in force when they were accepted.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of PLACEHOLDER JURISDICTION, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
